NO.190 | “不客气”英文花式表达!

相信每次讲到不客气的英文,大家脱口而出的肯定是“You’re welcome. ”,这个说法当然没错,但是还有其他方式可以表达哦!

1. You are welcome

不客气

It’s a little bit overused, especially by learners of English. 

You are very welcome. 

例: 

A: thank you so much for borrowing me that book. 

非常谢谢你把那本书借给我。

B: You are very welcome.


2. No problem

不客气,小事(偏美式)

Bear in mind 牢记 

that the old generations seem to dislike this one 

例: 

A: thanks for the help today.

谢谢你今天的帮忙。

B: no problem.


3. Thank YOU !

应该感谢的人是你

This one is all about the emphasis 语气加强,强调 

If somebody thanks you, but you think that they should  be thanked. You can say: no thank you.

例: 

A:thanks for accepting the invitation.

谢谢你接受了我的邀请。

B: thank YOU! 

我应该谢谢你。


4. The pleasure is mine 

这是我的荣幸(正式)

也可以说成:My pleasure!(轻松,非正式) pleasure!

例: 

A: thanks for taking your time to meet with me. I really appreciate it.  

谢谢你能抽出时间来见我,我非常感激。 

B: The pleasure is mine.

这是我的荣幸。


5. (仅适用于关系好的朋友之间)

I know you would do the same for me.

I’m sure you’d do the same for me.

我知道你也会这样对我。

例: 

A: thanks for covering for me during my period of absence.

感谢你在我不在的这段时间为我做的事情.

B: I know you’d do the same for me.  

我知道换作是你你也会这么帮我的。


6. that’s alright 没事

比较随意,需注意语气

例:

A: thank you so much for lending me the money. I promise I will pay you back as soon as I can. 

真的太谢谢你借了我这笔钱。我保证尽快还给你。

B: that’s alright. 

没事不急。


7. don’t mention it

不必客气 (偏英式)

例: 

A: thank you so much for bringing the dessert. 

非常感谢你带来了甜点。

B: don’t mention it. it was nothing. 

不用客气,应该的。


8. It was the least I could do!

这是我起码应该做的

例:

A: thank you for visiting me at the hospital.

谢谢你来医院看我。

B: oh,It was the least I could do! 

这是我至少能做的。


9. anytime! 不用谢

(愿意随时帮助你)

例: 

A: thank you for the help! 

谢谢你的帮助。

B: anytime! 

不客气,有需要随时找我。


10. 正式场合回答谢谢的表达

Formal ways of responding to thank you

1、much obliged 非常感谢;不胜感激 (非常英式)

2、I‘m very much obliged to you 

3、I’m happy to help 很高兴可以帮助你
